As a Β2Β Sales Advisor your role involves providing advice and guidance to clients within the maritime, industrial or public sector on products, services, and solutions that best meet their needs. Overall, your role is to be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of each sector and achieve their business objectives through effective use of company's products and services.
Main Responsibilities
- Researching market trends, competitors, and potential clients to identify sales opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while also developing new client contacts
- Having a deep understanding of the products or services being sold, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Creating sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Preparing proposal, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with clients
- Providing ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns they may have and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments.
- Working closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client management.
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, in Maritime Studies, in Sales and Marketing, in Engineering / Technical field
- Fluent in English verbal and written.
- Proven experience in sales and especially in maritime sector or industry is highly desirable (at least 3 year)
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad.
- Driving license
- Familiarity with the maritime sector or industry is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and certifications related to PPE is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
