The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Continuous Improvement Project Manager (Διαχειριστής/ρια Έργων Συνεχούς Βελτίωσης)”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Head of Continuous Improvement of the Continuous Improvement department, 100% based in Olympiada.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current processes to identify opportunities with final goals to increase productivity, lower cost and/or increase revenue. Opportunities can consist of e.g. new methods, equipment and/or technologies.
  • Encourage ideas coming from the organization
  • Together with Stakeholders and Finance create a project charter that will be a basis for decision-making. The important part is to measure progress, find key KPI’s, define a baseline and target for each KPI.
  • Together with cross functional teams, lead the project according to the Continuous Improvement Process, decided timeline and budget.
  • Safety is an integrated part of Continuous Improvement and safety measures e.g. Risk Analysis should be done and updated continuously.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project reporting to Stake Holder and Head of Continuous improvement.
  • Work with key business stakeholders, to fully implement continuous improvement projects that will be assigned from the departmental prioritization matrix
  • Assist and lead in LEAN, 6σ, Just-do-it process improvement workshops and Kaizen events.
  • Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy
  • Assist in changing initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through project delivery via internal governance and controls.
  • Work with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements.
  • Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
  • Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependences are identified, reported and always managed.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Mining Eng, Chemical Eng, Automation or in Finance with proven experience in senior positions
  • Μinimum 5-7 years proven experience in a similar role or in a leading role in Technology or process managemen
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong processes understanding in the mining sector.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet targets on time.
  • Excellent user of Excel, Power Point, BI, outlook, Visio, Access.
  • Very good knowledge of New Technology implementation.
