About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven insurance professional to join our growing team as a Insurance & Reinsurance Broker. This is a unique opportunity to work across both direct and reinsurance placements, supporting corporate clients with complex risk programs while engaging with global markets. Whether your background lies in direct insurance, reinsurance, or both, we’re looking for professionals who bring commercial insight, market expertise, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic risk transfer programs for corporate clients, leveraging both direct insurance and reinsurance markets.
- Lead and coordinate the broking process, including market submissions, placement strategies, and negotiation with insurers/reinsurers.
- Translate client risk profiles into tailored solutions that maximize value and coverage.
- Support renewals, tenders, and new business development across local and international markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuarial, analytics, claims, and legal to deliver comprehensive service.
- Maintain strong market relationships across insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance broking, underwriting, or risk consulting.
- Solid understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g. Property, Casualty, Liability, Specialty Lines).
- Experience in reinsurance treaty or facultative placements is a plus, but not essential.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills — ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in working with data and technical documents.
- Fluent in English; Greek and/or other European languages are an asset.
