We are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Executive to join our dynamic team!
📍 Location: Athens and Thessaloniki 💼 Full-time | Permanent
The successful candidate will be responsible of handling the existing corporate and client portfolio across all lines of insurance, Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new accounts, contributing to the company's growth objectives, while acting as a liaison between clients and brokers providing high-end services to our clientele and making sure their needs are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, acting as a first point of contact.
- Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities to expand our client portfolio.
- Identifying the client’s risk, insurance needs and objectives, providing advisory services.
- Negotiate clients’ queries and all types of insurance policies, liaising with the various divisions to provide client-centric solutions.
- Allocate as appropriate and keep all relevant parties informed regarding accountancy status and all business issues.
- Monitoring renewals, making sure the client’s cover is always in place, providing on-time information, payment instructions and possible improvements.
- Resolving clients’ complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions
- Cross selling to existing clientele.
- Adjusting content of sales presentations.
- Receiving claim notifications and liaising with the claims department in order to provide clients with the best advice prior to submitting claims to insurers and following up regularly until client is reimbursed.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Set and deliver budget objectives (growth and profitability).
Key qualifications:
- University degree in Insurance Science/Economics or relevant field.
- Αt least 3 years of previous experience in a similar position in insurance and/or reinsurance sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek & English language (verbal & written).
- Computer literate

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to develop long term relationships with internal/external customers, suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders across the Group.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Reliability, honesty, flexibility, problem solving and teamworking behavior and attitude.
