Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Athens. This role is central to managing and coordinating various business processes, with a primary focus on ensuring smooth order management, facilitating seamless communication with clients, suppliers, supply chain & logistics partners, and supporting efficient import-export operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, strong aptitude for organizational excellence, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service, driving efficiency in a dynamic fast-paced FMCG environment at the heart of our operations in Greece.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management: Process orders, track progress through to delivery, ensure timely invoicing, and manage the entry of all related documentation.

Logistics Coordination: Liaise with shipping companies to schedule shipments and handle import/export logistics, ensuring compliance with FMCG standards.

Supply Chain Communication: Keep customers and suppliers informed of the latest developments in supply chain processes and manage inquiries effectively.

Inventory and 3PL Tracking: Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating any adjustments.

Financial Monitoring: Track and manage customer and supplier payment balances, ensuring timely settlements and resolving discrepancies.

Commercial Policy Development: Assist in drafting commercial policies and support the periodic renewal of price lists.

Transaction Monitoring: Handle the tracking and entry of securities, including the entry of commercial documents into company systems.

Sales Monitoring: Regularly analyze turnover by customer, supplier, category, and promotional activities to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field; postgraduate studies in relevant areas are advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the FMCG sector, with hands-on experience in import-export and supply chain processes.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and commercial software; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

Language Skills: Proficient in Greek, English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Italian, Arabic) is a plus.

Professional Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to teamwork, consistency, and professionalism.
