ROLE SUMMARY:

The Team Sales Manager reports to Cyprus Lead and is located in Nicosia, Cyprus. In the role she/he will manage, lead, develop and motivate a group of Sales Reps, with the aim of achieving business and financial objectives in alignment with Pfizer SOPs.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Reps, including training, development, and the management of performance to ensure that sales and growth targets are met, and her/his staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills and support to perform effectively.
  • Work with the Cyprus lead and/or Marketing team to implement a sales plan for the assigned products, identifying, commercial opportunities and priorities in line with overall Therapeutic Areas (TA) strategic priorities and targets.
  • Work with the Cyprus lead and/or Marketing team to implement products sales budgets, and track sales performance, identifying trends and issues, addressing problems and forecasting performance to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage sales, ensuring that financial targets are met. Contribute to annual budget setting process, where appropriate.
  • Lead the identification of area business potential, directing and supporting the team and working with the Cyprus lead and/or Marketing team to pursue opportunities to exploit sales potential and grow the business.
  • Work on the field with all members of the team to counsel on improvement of selling skills, product knowledge, and capabilities needed for successful representative development.
  • Develop appropriate constructive internal and cross functional relationships, liaise with team colleagues across the TAs and contribute to projects and working groups to facilitate teamworking, the exchange of information and the development of future business opportunities.
  • Integrate innovation and digital channels to meet customer needs.
  • Identify, build and develop a network of key customer contacts and opinion leaders relevant to business area.
  • Collect market information and analyse, interpret and present relevant data, conclusions and recommendations, based on competitor analysis, trade trends and product performance information.
  • Lead the investigation, analysis and interpretation of business information for key customers.
  • Implement/update personal development plan in order to develop self further within current role
  • Enhance and promote "Patients First" culture internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree is required.
  • Postgraduate Degree will be considered an asset.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Pharma business
  • Experience in various Therapeutic Areas
  • Experience in roles of increased responsibility
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Candidate should be based in Cyprus.
  • Travel flexibility is essential.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze information, ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Build strong teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
  • Good project management skills
  • Good knowledge of common technical tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
