The Role 

As a Demand Planning Coordinator at Public Group, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing sales strategies and enhancing customer experiences through effective demand planning and inventory management. Leveraging your expertise in clustering methodologies and analytical skills, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product availability and stock levels across our stores. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with the Commercial department to apply clustering policies based on sales and store capacity  
  • Resolves planogram and space optimization opportunities through stores clustering to maximize sales performance and improve customer satisfaction 
  • Develops inventory policies to optimize stock levels and product availability 
  • Monitors store product replenishment and replacement strategy to maintain optimal inventory levels 
  • Conducts sales analysis and stock evaluations aligned with store capacity parameters 
  • Evaluates inventory levels prior to replenishment in order to mitigate the risks of overstock and over-assortment 
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate the effectiveness of demand planning strategies 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Planning, preferably within the Retail industry 
  • Proficient in numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Power Query 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a willingness to learn new software applications 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Demonstrated analytical prowess with a penchant for problem-solving 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in a relevant field 
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment 
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions 
  • Innovative thinking and proactive approach to driving initiatives forward
