As a Fashion Designer at Parabita you will be working in identifying emerging trends, and translating these into commercial products. You will work closely with the Buying teams and our Suppliers to ensure you capture the season’s must-have pieces to excite and delight the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strong interpretation of trends into commercial designs for the curvy women
2. Developing the product strategy in conjunction with the Buyers , which can then be translated into specific products for a range
3. Constantly developing the range with Buying and our suppliers to ensure it evolves and continues to meet the needs of the customer
4. Ability to build independent color stories & moodboards
5. International Travel, supplier and inspirational trips
6. Store visits , competition analysis

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1. Technical knowledge is essential along with an understanding and passion for emerging trends
2. Knowledge of CAD software
3. Experience working with European and Far East factories/suppliers
4. Ability to strongly interpret trends into designs/product
5. Ability to work under own initiative
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels
