We are looking for an:
"Operational Performance Leader"
The life of an Operational Performance Leader @LEROY MERLIN:
1. Strategic Steering & Growth Detection

Unlock Local Potential: Analyze local store catchments to identify untapped turnover opportunities and growth levers specific to each location.

Synergy Catalyst: Drive performance synergies across the network (stock optimization, margin improvement) to increase collective efficiency.

P&L & Budget Ownership: Oversee the network's consolidated P&L. Lead budget construction, forecasting, and the strict control of operating expenses (OPEX).

Investment Strategy: Consolidate and defend store investment needs (CAPEX) in BU Investment Committees, ensuring clear ROI and Payback calculations.
2. Mentorship & Culture Building

Performance Academy: Define the standards for the "Store Performance Leader" role. Create and run training programs focused on financial literacy, steering tools, AI/Data, and business leadership.

Economic Culture: Ensure all store teams—not just finance—understand their financial results and the operational levers that drive performance.

Strategic Challenger: Act as a constructive "counter-power" to Store Leaders to prioritize long-term profitability, while also challenging Head Office to ensure global KPIs reflect field reality.
3. Operational Excellence & Rituals

Network Animation: Create and lead shared performance rituals (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reviews). Identify and roll out best practices from one store to the entire network.

Data Stewardship: Partner with Omnichannel, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams to guarantee data accuracy. Ensure dashboards are simple, user-friendly, and actionable.

Internal Control: Guarantee that company procedures and internal controls (NEXUS) are applied across the network to secure company assets.
We will have the perfect match if you have:
Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in business/financial controlling. Experience in operations and retail, particularly in areas such as Supply Chain, Offer, or Data, is a significant advantage.
Leadership Skills:

Strong autonomy and a pioneering spirit.

Ability to lead and implement company strategies across various support domains.

Managerial proximity with the capability to develop junior or less experienced team members.

Talent for identifying and developing resource pools in alignment with the Business Unit's growth ambitions.

Strong organizational skills to establish and maintain impactful management routines.

Results-driven with a strong appetite for challenges in a highly competitive market (both retail and labor markets).
Language Skills:

Excellent level of English required with the ability to communicate effectively and influence in a foreign language.
