As a Store Manager at MAC, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing the full spectrum of store operations, including P&L management, team leadership, training and development, visual merchandising, inventory, and optimal rostering. You will lead by example, aligning and engaging your team with the brand’s values and principles, while creating a memorable shopping experience for every customer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service & Sales
- Lead and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and implement action plans to drive business growth.
- Motivate the team through daily/weekly store activations and initiatives.
- Leverage social media, omni-channel, and virtual selling to boost performance.
- Drive transactions and ensure sales targets are consistently achieved.
People Management
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Hold individuals accountable for results, behaviors, and compliance.
- Inspire, engage, and motivate the team to deliver brand values.
Store Operations
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Manage inventory, expenses, reporting, and documentation.
- Maintain hygiene, health, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Optimize staff scheduling to maximize productivity and conversion during peak hours.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high traffic retail management, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products, trends, and industry standards.
- Proficient in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
