Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role of Jewellery Product Developer position in Athens, with flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing jewellery designs, prototyping new ideas, and following up with vendors to ensure successful production. The role requires extensive knowledge of jewellery design, precious metals, gemstones, and diamonds. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and creative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is passionate about creating unique and high-quality products for our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably related to jewellery design or product development
• Experience in designing and developing jewellery products, preferably in luxury jewellery industry
• Proficiency in CAD, CAM, and 3D printing software packages
• Knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals, including sourcing and selection
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with vendors and other stakeholders
• Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and timelines
• A passion for keeping up to date with current jewellery trends and designs

Main duties and responsibilities

• Establish Communication channels with Sales teams Marketing, E-commerce, and Management
• Utilize project management systems (Trello) for the development plan to be displayed in real time.
• Organize Development priorities based on team feedback 
• Create a team with Cad designers and Jewellery technical advisors based on given budgets.
• Ensure that the final products are technically articulated.
• Ensure that final products are aligned with Australian market needs and aesthetics
• Ensure that product development processes are followed and are producing a steady number of products each month.
• Group existing collections and their expansions /Reduce items from the collections.
• Produce silver models that are needed and display the exact dimensions of the final items.
• Store all info on products in respective cloud Files and ERP.
• Create a builder function (Earrings, Engagement rings, Pendants, Bracelets) for all product categories together with the E-commerce manager.
• Create a technical guideline for products.

Salary based on experience in Bridal Jewellery and experience within International Jewellery Factories .
