JOB DESCRIPTION
At Inofita Plant, Greece we are looking for a results-oriented and creative professional with working experience in Food Industry and continuous improvement mindset to join the Baking Innovation Technology & Quality (ITQ) team in the role of R&D Scientist. This role will support the Betty Crocker INT & Bakery and Food Service team priorities and projects in a temporary contract base.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Key Plant and External Manufacturers personnel to execute trials in a safe and effective manner
- Innovate and Renovate our core product range to bring Growth to our Brands
- Continuously improving our waste management in all areas related to R&D
- Collaborate with internal business partners to deliver key plan making Projects
- Interact with consumers and customers to develop meaningful insights and translate into concepts, prototypes and commercial offerings
- Leverage scientific knowledge to solve key technical issues
- Maintain the safety of our people and our products
Qualifications
- years 2-4 relevant experience in the Food Industry in similar role
- Sc. (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Food Science or similar
- Previous experience in Baking and Dough RnD will be considered an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to travel
- Problem solving skills and can-do attitude
- Results-orientation
- Team spirit and project-based approach
- Fluency in Greek & English language
- Computer literate
