Job Description:
We are currently looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team, based in Volos, Greece.
By joining this role, you'll play a key role in supporting and monitoring quality control activities across production processes, ensuring compliance with technical standards, customer requirements, and contractual obligations within complex industrial and defense projects.
Your role will encompass:
• Supporting the monitoring of quality control activities throughout production to ensure alignment with schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Verifying that documented procedures are properly implemented during manufacturing processes.
• Identifying, documenting, and following up on non-conformities, including supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Contributing to root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process performance.
• Supporting the planning and execution of First Article Inspections (FAI), including preparation and validation of inspection documentation (ballooned drawings, reports, etc.).
• Reviewing technical documentation to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Monitoring traceability of materials, components, and production processes.
• Participating in risk management activities, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Reviewing and contributing to quality documentation such as inspection plans, test procedures, and certification records.
• Performing inspections and verification activities throughout the production lifecycle.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, procurement, quality) to ensure consistent quality standards.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA/QC or similar engineering role within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, standards, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as FAI, CAPA, RCA, and FMEA.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in quality documentation and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
