Operational & Clinical Quality Assurance Officer
In this role, the successful candidate will support the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards. They will contribute to continuous improvement and patient safety initiatives through audits, data analysis, and collaboration with clinical and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, review, and update policies, procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals, in line with applicable standards and internal requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, national regulations, and healthcare quality standards
- Conduct internal audits, prepare audit reports, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor, analyze, and report on Quality Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Objectives
- Support preparation for external audits, certifications, and accreditation processes
- Promote a quality and safety culture across clinical and administrative departments
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective implementation of quality processes
- Maintain accurate and well-structured quality documentation and records
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably in healthcare or highly regulated environments
- Excellent written documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and well-substantiated procedures and reports
- Experience in internal auditing and performance monitoring
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Technical & Language Skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with Greek healthcare legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience in private healthcare organizations or hospitals
