About the Job

Department: Quality Assurance

Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality assurance processes, policies, and documentation.
• Perform routine inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Lead root cause analysis procedures and ensure effective implementation of solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness for internal and external assessments.
• Train and mentor team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and company specifications.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO standards & HACCP).
• Experience conducting internal audits.
• Background in food industry will be considered a significant advantage
• Proficiency with quality management tools, data analysis, and reporting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
