Quality Assurance Manager
The role reports to the Technical Manager, and will be based in Schimatari, Viotia.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality systems to ensure food safety and compliance with national and international standards. This role involves leading the QA team, overseeing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
What You Will Enjoy Doing:
- Develop and implement procedures and programs to establish robust Quality Assurance practices, ensuring continuous improvement of the Quality System.
- Ensure effective and consistent application of Quality Control systems across all factories.
- Oversee factory laboratories, ensuring they operate to required standards and deliver reliable results.
- Coordinate Quality Control departments to align with the company’s quality manual and strategic goals.
- Manage, investigate, and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Monitor Quality KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance of quality processes and systems with relevant regulations and standards (IFS, ISO 9001, etc.).
- Develop and implement risk management programs to safeguard factories against future quality risks.
- Review product specifications (raw materials, packaging, finished and semi-finished products) and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct internal and external audits, document corrective actions, and monitor implementation plans.
- Oversee the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and propose improvement initiatives.
- Provide quality input to New Product Development projects, including launch-period checks, shelf-life testing, and specification control.
- Provide visible leadership to laboratory supervisors and teams by assigning projects and activities that optimize capacity.
- Guide, train, and evaluate the performance of the Quality Team, identifying and addressing training needs.
- Ensure factory operators are fully trained and aware of their individual responsibilities in maintaining product quality.
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage
- 3–5 years of experience in similar roles, with proven expertise in QA systems within the food industry
- Excellent command of the English language and proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
- Extensive understanding of factory operations, with in-depth knowledge of quality management systems and processes (e.g., IFS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) in an FMCG environment
- Solid understanding of product legislation, particularly food-related regulations
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
- Demonstrated accountability and ownership in achieving results
