ALUMIL, a leader in the manufacturing of architectural aluminum systems, is seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Your Role
The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for conducting essential quality checks on incoming materials for the warehouse, as well as assessing profiles—be they architectural or industrial—and evaluating customer samples. Additionally, this role will oversee the quality assurance processes that ensure excellence in our production operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducts inspections in accordance with Alumil or customer specifications
- Identifies, assesses, and halts defective batches
- Evaluates whether equipment is causing quality issues
- Generates reports or certificates of compliance for customers or suppliers (3.1, PPAP, or Scanner reports)
- Reviews new samples of architectural or industrial profiles
- Determines the accuracy of scrap decisions made by Operators
- Inspects incoming materials for compliance
- Performs statistical analyses to assess supplier quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance (AEI & TEI)
- Prior experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting will be highly considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
- Proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Very good knowledge of English language
