Διασφάλιση ΠοιότηταςWavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We seek to employ the position of Risk and Compliance Lead in the islands of Rhodes and Crete for the season 2026.
Position: Risk and Compliance Lead
Locations: Crete (Heraklion) & Rhodes
Education Requirements & Skills:
- University Diploma or Degree.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Previous hotel operations experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience, Qualifications & Certification Requirements:
- Background in Food Technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with management system implementation (ISO 9001, 22000, 14001,45001, Travelife ) is a plus.
- Basic training in ISO 9001, 14001 & 22000 management systems
- Internal audit experience and strong auditing skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Risk Management and Compliance programs across hotel operations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies, processes and procedure, international and legal requirements.
- Perform H&S risk Assessment, identify potential risks and propose corrective actions or preventive measures.
- Lead Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management initiatives within hotel based on group guidelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management highlighting compliance status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Carry out daily and monthly duties as per Wavemaker Hospitality group procedures
- Coordinate with hotel managers and staff to ensure consistent application of procedures.
- Train staff on compliance, food safety, health and safety, emergency, and sustainability
- Monitor and report on emerging industry regulations and trends to ensure company compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce risks.
