ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a global leader in sustainability, providing water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions, is seeking a Chemical Technician.
📌 Location: Agioi Theodoroi, Korinthos
📍 Working Model: On-site at the refinery
🗓️ Working Days: Monday – Friday
⏰ Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
🖋️ You will be reporting to: Account Manager, in collaboration with the Division Manager and local team
What you will do:
As a Chemical Technician, you will support customer operations by providing technical expertise, ensuring optimal chemical application, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will monitor processes, perform analyses, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and performance. The role combines field visits, process optimization, and reporting to drive operational excellence.
More specifically:
- Customer Relationship Management: Support the team in building and maintaining strong relationships at site/operational level
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers, identifying and resolving operational challenges, escalating issues as required
- Field Visits: Regular visits to production units to monitor processes, conduct analyses, and oversee chemical dosing and application
- Process Monitoring & Analysis: Perform system analysis, chemical testing, and sampling; track performance and provide written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
- Chemical Inventory Management: Monitor and manage chemical inventory at customer sites, ensuring availability and proper storage
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of analyses, dosing, visits, and applied chemical treatments; generate reports for internal and client review
- Product Application: Support the implementation of chemical products in customer production processes, evaluating effectiveness and optimizing usage
What we are looking for:
- University Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Up to 2 years of experience in a related position in the chemical, oil, gas, or industrial sector will be considered a plus
- Driving License and ability to commute to Korinthos daily
- Advanced Computer literacy
- Proficient knowledge of English
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- High regard for safety and compliance with regulations
