As we continue to innovate, we are seeking a talented and driven Micro Analyst to join our company.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of nutrients for microbiological analysis
• Perform microbiological analysis on raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate, bulk and final products   
• Perform tests of effectiveness of preservatives on products being developed.
• Running test samples for In-Process, Lot Release and Stability studies
• Basic problem solving of methods troubleshooting of equipment
• Recognize aberrant test and sample conditions and report to them to the area supervisor / manager with an assessment of the circumstances and potential corrective action if appropriate
• Operation of a biohazard trash autoclave
• Perform daily checks on equipment and stock the lab daily
• Ensure the procedures of Unified Quality Assurance System which he is concerned with and is under supervision for them by the Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications :

• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel programs PowerPoint, Project and Visio
• Cover shifts as needed
• BS in Microbiology, Biology, or related
• At least 1-2 years of recent industry experience as a Microbiologist adhering to GMPs
• Basic familiarity with major classes of microorganisms
• General computer program operations, inc. Word, Excel, Outlook
• Military obligations fulfilied (for men)
