Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lathe Assistant to support our machining operations. You will assist in setting up and operating lathe machines, ensure parts meet quality standards, and maintain tools and work areas for safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and operating lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications

• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and dimensional standards

• Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality control

• Clean and maintain lathe machines, tools, and work areas

• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials required for machining

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or vocational training in machining is a plus)

• Basic knowledge of lathe operations preferred; on-the-job training provided

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

• Good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

• Team player with a willingness to learn
