Purpose and Objective
To ensure continuous availability and reliability of production equipment.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Production/Factory Support
- Immediate response to production interruptions or delays.
- Diagnosis of production problems and corrective actions.
- Overtime and standby support during periods of peak production.
- Regular preventative maintenance based on planning.
- Managing jig commissioning and de-commissioning during changeovers.
- Escalate issues to higher support levels when required.
- Propose continues improvement ideas.
- Participate in spare part management activities.
Required skills
- Degree certifying electrical installations capability.
- Flexible, can-do attitude, with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated experience of test equipment design, construction and testing.
- Advanced level of English language.
- Basic understanding of power distribution (low voltage networks).
- Demonstrated experience of working effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Practical & can work with hands esp. good mechanical sense.
- Able to understand and work with circuit diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to plan and prioritize their own workload.
- Willing to take instruction from more senior technicians/engineers.
- Technical fault-finding ability, common sense diagnostics.
- Logical and systematic. Comfortable with diagnostic tools e.g. Multimeters, Oscilloscope.
- General ability to operate mechanical workshop tools.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Any experience with electronic field installation, embedded SW of PCNA design will be valued.
