Responsibilities

• Prepares Hydrological Studies and calculates Flood Discharges
• Processes Hydrological Data and prepares Technical Reports for the calculation of design flood discharges
• Estimates Runoff from Drainage Basins and studies Water Balances
• Reviews Third-Party Studies related to the field of Hydrology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or College in Civil Engineering / Hydraulic specialization or equivalent
• Master of Egineering related to the broader field of Hydrology will be considered an additional qualification
• Doctor of Engineering related to the broader field of Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering will be considered an additional qualification
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the preparation of hydrological studies, calculation of flood hydrographs, processing of hydrological data, water balance studies
• Experience in Hydraulic Studies of Flood Control Projects, Irrigation Networks will be considered an additional qualification
• Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) or an equivalent professional body
• Knowledge of HEC-HMS and/or PRMS and/or MODFLOW and/or QGIS and/or SAGA GIS, iRIC, etc., will be considered an additional qualification
• Good knowledge of the English language 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet 
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
