The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of ‘Senior Driller – Leading Hand Reverse Circulation and Production Drilling | Ανώτερος Χειριστής Διατρητικού – Επικεφαλής Αντίστροφης Κυκλοφορίας και Παραγωγικών Γεωτρήσεων’, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Open Pit Mining Supervisor in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

· Execution of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling operations.

· Collaboration with geologists, pit technicians, and driller assistants to ensure effective implementation of the drilling program.

· Coordination with the open pit mining team, including shift bosses and equipment operators, to maintain safe and efficient operations.

· Application of mechanical knowledge to perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed.

· Completion of daily drilling reports and monitoring of stock and consumables.

· Mentorship and training of trainee drillers and assistants in RC drilling techniques.

· Assurance of sample quality in accordance with strict QA/QC standards.

· Reporting of any non-compliance in sampling or drilling techniques to the Responsible Geologist immediately.

· Support to mine geologists and production teams through general duties as required.

· Assistance with both field and office activities in support of the wider team.

· Participation in training sessions as required.

· Execution of risk assessments for field-related tasks at both team and individual levels.

· Compliance with departmental safety regulations and procedures.

· Adherence to fair and respectful workplace conduct toward all team members.

· Support of safety and environmental initiatives in accordance with company standards.

· Flexibility to undertake additional tasks or responsibilities during drilling downtimes or as needed.

Requirements:

· Degree in Mechanical Installations, Mineral Resources Engineering, or a related technical field.

· Holder of a valid 7.1 and/or 7.2 License, in accordance with Greek legislation for drilling and heavy machinery operation.

· Minimum 10+ years’ experience in the drilling industry

· Relevant vocational training in heavy equipment or industrial maintenance will also be considered in drilling operations.

· Experience in the related fields of Open Pit mine / Quarry operations will be advantageous.

· Driving license and ability to drive in an active mining environment.

· Good level of written and oral English will be positively considered.

· Energetic team player with a commitment to superior quality results.

· Motivated, with good analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work within a team.
