SEPTONA, one of the leading Greek companies in personal care operating in Greece and 70 countries globally, is seeking for a Production Planner. He / She will work closely with plant management and supply network planning to develop and execute an optimal production schedule and inventory control.

Main responsibilities:

• Manages all planning inputs: Sales orders, forecasts, custom / special orders.
• Maintains consolidated sales forecasts in the system.
• Translates the consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule / build schedule.
• Uses ERP to develop and maintain the master schedule in the system.
• Maintains BOMs (Bill of Materials) in the system and adjust relevant production orders.
• Prepares and distributes weekly production schedules / work order dispatch lists.
• Monitors daily schedule status and communicates scheduling problems.
• Confers with the Production Manager to determine the status of schedules and materials to revise schedules, as necessary, to meet customer demands.
• Assists management to resolve problems with late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and cancellations of customer orders.
• Proposes, gains approval for, and leads implementation of improved planning methods, tools, and reports.
• Prepares production reports.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
• 2-3 years of experience in planning and scheduling a manufacturing facility.
• Fluency and proficiency in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order policies, capacity planning, input/output control, routings, and standards maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in master scheduling, production planning and detailed scheduling, demand management and cost accounting techniques.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills/abilities.

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
