Your main responsibilities
- Manage daily purchasing needs of operational equipment and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain well-organized file depository regarding purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other important documentation.
- Request RFQs, RFPs and RFI.
- Negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, payment terms, and delivery dates.
- Run market research, and identify potential new vendors and opportunities.
- Analyze the market and prepare comparisons, presentations, and reports.
- Liaise with other departments, in order to cover purchasing needs and achieve defined targets.
- Coordinate and execute delivery changes.
- Liaise with suppliers when necessary. Identify alternative suppliers to cover the company’s needs and best interests.
Your main qualifications/skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant studies are desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- 3-5 years of experience in an administrative position. Work experience in a Procurement department will be considered as an asset.
- MS Office – power user of Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and attention to detail.
