Purchasing Senior Buyer

   Job Information

 Office Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

Department: Procurement

Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Your main responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing needs of operational equipment and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain well-organized file depository regarding purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other important documentation.
• Request RFQs, RFPs and RFI.
• Negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, payment terms, and delivery dates.
• Run market research, and identify potential new vendors and opportunities.
• Analyze the market and prepare comparisons, presentations, and reports.
• Liaise with other departments, in order to cover purchasing needs and achieve defined targets.
• Coordinate and execute delivery changes.
• Liaise with suppliers when necessary. Identify alternative suppliers to cover the company’s needs and best interests.

Your main qualifications/skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant studies are desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• 3-5 years of experience in an administrative position. Work experience in a Procurement department will be considered as an asset.
• MS Office – power user of Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and attention to detail.
