Job Description:

 

We are seeking a driven and meticulous Senior Buyer to join our accomplished procurement team. The Senior Buyer will play a vital role in the procurement process, responsible for purchasing goods and services, engaging in supplier negotiations, and fostering strong supplier partnerships, including in the coffee and consumables business categories. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in procurement and supply chain management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Lead and oversee the procurement of goods and services in alignment with company requirements
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable partnerships
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable contract terms
• Conduct thorough market analyses to identify emerging trends and propose strategic adjustments to purchasing strategies
• Continuously monitor supplier performance to uphold contractual obligations and quality standards
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date purchasing records and documentation
• Oversee the invoice processing and data entry in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures
• Lead the strategic sourcing initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize supplier selection, and improve overall procurement efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to foster positive supplier relationships
• Exceptional attention to detail, adept at multitasking and effectively prioritizing workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a focus on data analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Preferred prior experience in procurement or supply chain management, showcasing a solid understanding of industry practices
• Experience with invoice data verification and entry in an ERP system is highly desirable, highlighting proficiency in relevant tools and software.
