We are looking for a full time Procurement Officer who will support Procurement department’s needs and communicate daily with German suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute spot buys and sourcing for the managed spend categories.
- Support Procurement Buyers in executing strategic sourcing for spend categories.
- Support materialization of savings vs BP and value creation for the organization.
- Nurture strong internal customer relationships with the respective stakeholders; be able to understand stakeholders’ needs, manage efficiently expectations and work effectively to achieve organizational priorities.
- Manage contracts and contract implementation, upcoming expirations and plan actions for contract renewal/extension or new sourcing activity.
- Manage and optimize suppliers’ database.
- Document all sourcing and buying decisions in line with policies and guidelines and obtain all required approvals/ signs off on timely basis, maintain procurement documentation in tools & systems (e.g. SoftOne, Fiber etc.).
- Maintain master data, manage PRs and invoices’ factual verification.
- Support the introduction of new processes, tools and systems within the procurement team and advise internal customers on procurement methods, processes and application of guidelines.
- Ensure & follow-up actions regarding compliance and audit.
- Partner with relevant functions and stakeholders to increase efficiency in P2P process.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: 2+ years of experience in the field of engineering, operations, supply chain, procurement, project management.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of the German language (C1/C2).
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language (C1/C2).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft skills: Proven evidence of working in cross-functional teams, ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively and find solutions.
- Motivation: High performer with a personal drive for continuous self-improvement.
- Time Management: Planning and time-management skills and ability to perform and deliver under tight deadlines.
