Responsibilities:
- Conducts the selection procedures for Contractors supplying Passive Materials and Equipment related to the development, maintenance, and operation of the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) telecommunications network
- Manages and monitors the relevant contracts, ensuring their proper execution and final settlement. Participates in the financial and accounting monitoring of contracts, guarantees, payment documents, advances, invoices, retention of performance guarantees, price revisions, and penalty clauses
- Prepares standardized invitation documents and contracts related to their scope of work, ensuring their accuracy and completeness
- Monitors the market and investigates supply sources, collecting and processing cost data for services, supplies and equipment under their responsibility
- Participates in the preparation of the Department’s Investment Budgets
- Contributes to the formulation and monitoring of Operating Budgets, supporting the strategic and operational functions of the Department
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a University or Technological Educational Institute
- Master's degree will be considered an additional qualification
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in contract management for procurement related to telecommunications, as well as in the contractor selection process
- Knowledge of SAP ERP and/or SAP Ariba will be considered an additional qualification
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
