Responsibilities:
- Ensures the proper drafting and completeness of internal procurement requests (Purchase Requisitions), undertakes the execution and completion of tender procedures and award processes and prepares and monitors the completion of approval documents and related contracts
- Continuously monitors and stays informed about the framework governing PPC’s supplies, projects and services, with the aim of ensuring procedural compliance
- Monitors and researches the market, collects and analyzes cost data for the services under their responsibility, while also exploring optimal market solutions
- Participates in the drafting and standardization of the commercial terms of contracts and contributes to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and the achievement of objectives
- Provides support throughout the implementation of contracts until their completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Sciences will be considered an additional qualification
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in conducting vendor selection procedures for the procurement of materials and equipment / consulting and support services / projects in related sectors, as well as in drafting and monitoring the relevant contracts
- Experience in the energy, telecommunications, or banking sector will be considered an additional qualification
- Technical skills in procurement methodologies, tools, and process techniques will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of using electronic procurement procedures and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP) will be considered an additional qualification
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
