Senior Supply Chain Assurance Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Supply Chain Assurance officer to join the Procurement team.

The selected candidate will support the effective execution of transactions on renewable energy projects, contributing to the evaluation of the Supply Chain and support the established Due Diligence process, which encompass first line Supplier regulatory compliance, ESG and procurement related audits, during the development, construction, acquisition and sale processes of renewable energy assets or projects.

Your role will encompass:

• Support the Technical & Procurement Director, the Head of Procurement and the Supply Chian & Sustainability Manager
• Support Supplier/Business partner audits, part of the due diligence phase
• Conduct first line Sanctions and Integrity related audits
• Conduct assessments and audits of suppliers based on quality, regulatory compliance, and sustainability criteria
• Assist in regulatory compliance initiatives and contribute to Procurement, ESG and sustainability strategies
• Participate in risk assessment and due diligence procedures for new and existing suppliers
• Engage in risk screening processes using tools eg. LSEG - World Check One (experience is considered an asset)
• Evaluate, review and manage Supplier documentation
• Create and retain procurement related, Due Diligence and audit archive
• Act as a subject matter expert, guiding colleagues and occasionally leading cross-functional tasks.
• Liaise and work closely with other Business Units and Central Functions (Legal, Compliance, Sustainability etc.) and Regional Teams worldwide to ensure process alignment and best practices
• Cooperate with internal teams (Procurement, Compliance, Development, Management, Legal, Finance, EPC etc.) and external stakeholders (advisors, consultants etc.) to ensure transaction execution
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supplier performance, market intelligence, procurement related issues, ESG indicators, and compliance metrics

What you bring to the role:

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, Economics, Law, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
• 4+ working experience in relevant roles
• Understanding of ESG principles and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, other)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., document management platforms such as SharePoint , other)
• Experience in the renewable energy sector
• nterest in renewable energy, project management, regulatory processes, and corporate operations
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive mindset, teamwork skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments
