Role Overview

The Storage Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel storerooms and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock management, organization, and timely distribution of supplies. The role safeguards hotel assets, supports operational departments—including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Front Office—and ensures all inventory practices comply with hotel standards, HACCP, and safety regulations. The Storage Manager reports to the Group Purchasing Manager and collaborates closely with departmental colleagues to ensure seamless operational support across all hotel segments.

  • Organize and maintain all storerooms to ensure accessibility, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring proper labeling, categorization, and rotation of stock (FIFO/FEFO), and enforcing hotel standards for sanitation and equipment handling.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing teams, F&B, and Housekeeping to forecast supply needs, communicate stock updates and inventory issues to department heads, and coordinate scheduled deliveries with proper documentation and verification.
  • Ensure all storage practices comply with HACCP policies, local health regulations, and safety guidelines while maintaining security of storerooms and reporting potential risks or maintenance issues.
  • Supervise storeroom attendants and receiving staff, provide training on proper storage procedures and inventory systems, and schedule daily workloads to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain operational efficiency by optimizing storage organization, stock rotation, and workflow, while ensuring correct handling and storage of all items, including F&B perishables and sensitive products.
  • Support financial audits through accurate inventory records and timely identification of discrepancies, and proactively resolve shortages, delivery issues, or stock variances.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in inventory management, warehousing, or hotel storeroom operations.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel purchasing and inventory systems (e.g., SOFTONE, ENTERSOFT) is an advantage.

  • Ability to lift and manage physical stock as required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and integrity.
