The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Inventory Control Superintendent (Προϊστάμενος Διαχείρισης Αποθεμάτων)”, for its premises in Chalkidiki (supporting all sites). The position will report to the Head of Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics of the Supply Chain Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide Inventory Controllers across all sites, ensuring standardization of practices and alignment with business priorities.
- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and provide coaching to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for inventory accuracy, cycle count execution, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of cycle counts and physical inventories in collaboration with warehouse teams.
- Monitor inventory levels, system alignment, and conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies.
- Oversee the implementation and refinement of Min/Max levels, reorder points, and MRP settings for stock categories.
- Provide guidance on safety stock parameters and critical material classification.
- Collaborate with Planning, Maintenance, and Procurement to ensure material availability and inventory optimization.
- Ensure consistency, integrity, and structure of material master data across all Hellas Gold systems.
- Approve naming conventions, units of measure, and material classification rules.
- Drive cataloguing improvement projects and ensure regular cleansing and de-duplication efforts.
- Ensure SAP and related systems are configured to support robust inventory control.
- Maintain clear segregation of duties between warehouse, inventory, and procurement functions.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory processes and documentation.
- Liaise with site leadership, maintenance, warehouse, and procurement teams to align inventory strategy with operational goals.
- Prepare monthly reporting packs on inventory health, KPIs, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CIPS, EIPM, or equivalent international inventory management credentials are considered an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain roles.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or multi-site coordination capacity.
- Strong leadership and coordination capabilities across multi-site teams.
- Deep knowledge of SAP (MM module), MRP, and material master management.
- Strong command of Excel and inventory analytics tools.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complexity.
- Familiarity with cycle count methodologies and ABC analysis.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Valid driving license.
