Purchasing Manager

Position Overview:
A prestigious luxury hospitality group is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee its procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality of goods and services while optimizing costs.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s exceptional standards. You will collaborate closely with various departments to meet their procurement needs efficiently and in alignment with the company’s financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor market trends and assess supply risks to ensure timely procurement of high-quality products.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and support them with appropriate supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support decision-making and improve procurement processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.
• Solid analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Flexibility to travel to Santorini when required.
