The Procurement Specialist – F&B / Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the financial and procedural control of the Procurement and Food & Beverage (F&B) operations of Astir Group. This role ensures compliance with the group’s procurement policies, accurate cost management, efficient stock control, and timely reporting. The Procurement Specialist works closely with Procurement, Accounting, and Departmental Managers to safeguard assets, maintain transparency, and support operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support in managing and executing purchase orders through ERP SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers, with a strong focus on F&B categories (food, beverages, consumables), ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
  • Collect, analyze, and forecast requirements for all F&B outlets and hotel operations, in collaboration with Chefs, Beverage Managers, and Operations teams.
  • Assist in budget planning (OPEX & CAPEX), monitor implementation, analyze variances, and contribute to cost control reporting.
  • Provide support in CAPEX projects (procurement of equipment, technical services, renovations) and OPEX processes (operational expenses, consumables, services).
  • Manage and archive contracts, agreements, supplier documentation, and tender files to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Controlling departments for accurate expense allocation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Stay updated on procurement market trends, explore new vendor opportunities, and propose cost optimization initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in the F&B sector, ideally within a hotel environment or organized food & beverage operations.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Purchasing/Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel for cost analysis & reporting).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and efficiency under time pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Culinary, Operations, Finance).
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
