About the position
ERMA FIRST ESK Engineering Solutions S.A is seeking to hire a Group Purchasing Agent to join our growing team:
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for international and domestic vendor management of materials of products, ensuring timely delivery, cost effectiveness and quality.
- Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
- Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Requesting cost proposals and negotiating contracts and prices.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Responsible for vendor agreements (negotiations in prices, quantities, discounts, payment terms etc.)
- Acts as a liaison between accounting and vendors upon request
- Ensure quality of purchased products and services provided by vendors.
Requirements:
- Working experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered as a strong plus
- Experience in similar position
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral English
- Customer orientation and excellent communication skills
- Dynamic personality with multitasking skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers
