As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the receipt and inspection of all goods delivered to Conrad Athens The Ilisian. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that all inventory is accounted for accurately, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's supply chain. You will play an essential role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence by ensuring that all products received meet quality standards and are properly documented.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect all incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Record and manage inventory levels in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate distribution of received goods.
  • Document any discrepancies or issues with shipments and communicate them to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all received items, including packing slips and invoices.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reports as required by management.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to update records and manage reordering processes.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receiving clerk, warehouse clerk, or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods when needed.
