Key Areas of Responsibility

• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery of targets.
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments, and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization.
• Work closely with others in the procurement team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
• Build, maintain and ensure that a professional and consistent approach is followed in relation to all suppliers.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Liaise with suppliers by phone and emails.

 
Requirements

• University degree.
• 1-3 years proven experience in Supply Chain/Logistics environment.  
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

 
Optional Skills

• Communication skills in German (verbal and writing).
• Post graduate studies will be considered as an asset.
• Working experience in a multinational company.
