Position: Purchasing Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and clarify order details
• Identify new suppliers or alternatives for cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate details (e.g., quantities, specifications, prices)
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery in collaboration with the logistics department
• Maintain proper documentation for all purchase-related activities
• Review import documents and register them in the ERP system
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, discrepancies, or defective products
• Collaborate and support other company departments exclusively on tasks related to purchasing

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in purchasing or a similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Good command of a second foreign language (will be considered an asset)
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team spirit and effective communication abilities
