A renowned company operating in Food & Beverage industry, located in the northern suburbs of Attica is currently seeking a Category Manager to join the Commercial Department and play a key role in managing work associated with planning, selecting, and purchasing quantities of goods and merchandise.

His/her responsibilities will be focused in the following areas:

• Liaise with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Source and build relations with new suppliers
• Monitor market changes, competitor prices, and products
• Analyze past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying patterns
• Present new ranges to retail managers

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
• At least 5+ years of working experience in a similar position
• Prior experience in food industry is essential
• Knowledge in light equipment & heavy machinery will be highly appreciated
• Familiar with ERP systems, preferably Entersoft
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Ability to work under pressure (time management)
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
