We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at KONE.

The Maintenance Technician provides on-site customer assistance and ensures a service maintenance of elevators and escalators as close as possible to the needs of our customers. The maintenance technician ensures reliable and safe operation of the systems in accordance with the requirements of the service contract, company guidelines and KONE processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on elevators and escalators;
• Is responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with customers, contact persons and end users, providing high quality services and regular, proactive and accurate communications (call for action, work performed, etc.);
• Perform interventions on call for stationary or malfunctioning systems;
• Performs periodic, half-yearly, extraordinary visits;
• It is responsible for the performance and safety of the installations.

Requirements and Skills

• Certifications in elevator maintenance is a must
• Experience in repair, maintenance and / or assembly:
• Attitude to problem solving and communication with customers and users:
• Good technological knowledge of the main types of elevator systems;
• Knowledge of technical procedures and reference standards;
• Knowledge of the provisions on safety and the operation and use of safety devices;
• or reliability.
