The award-winning The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino are seeking for a Gym Attendant. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the standards of guest services and cleanliness for the Fitness facility (Health Centre, Pool and Jacuzzi area, Steam – Sauna area and Locker rooms). Responsible for the entry of guests to the Health Club in an efficient and professional manner. Using skills and knowledge to provide information, proceed with bookings and implement retail sales.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and inform guests on all of the adult and children activities offered by the Recreation department. Make personalized suggestions to guests, always offering memorable experiences.
- Arrange bookings, receive requests, and promote and sell all personal training and group activities to Recreation dept. guests in a professional manner.
- Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene.
- Effectively use, update and follow up all reservations and financial platforms.
- Communicate regularly and efficiently with the management team on operational issues. Participate in the weekly meetings with the Recreation Manager.
- Refill the fridge with water and protein products.
- Carry the dirty towels to the laundry area and replace with clean ones by storing them in the gym storage.
- Receive the weekly order from the purchasing department.
- Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Guide and encourage team to do the same.
- Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Good knowledge of Hotel Operational Systems preferred
- Ability to deliver memorable service and exceed guests’ expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and under supervision
- Team player and supportive/motivating behavior with the team
- Maintain a positive attitude with internal and external guests
- Problem solving - Multitasking skills / Flexibility & adaptability / Time-management skills
- Communication skills, both verbal and written and email etiquette / Social media use
