Costa Navarino is a sustainably driven destination in the Mediterranean, located in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese. Graced with a breath-taking seaside landscape, this is a region shaped by 4,500 years of history. The destination comprises several distinct sites featuring five-star hotels, luxury private residences, a world-class golf experience, and many year-round activities. Navarino Dunes is home to The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and Costa Navarino Residences. Navarino Bay is the setting for Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino and Navarino Agora, a curated marketplace. Both sites have signature golf courses, while at Navarino Hills there are two further signature golf courses.

The The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, is seeking a Bell Attendant to make an impact on this job. The successful candidate is primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The Bell Attendant escorts guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel more comfortable and welcome to the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests as per brand standards and direct them to Reception area.
  • Load and unload luggage from vehicles and deliver it to rooms. Offer valet services.
  • Ensure guests’ luggage security in his care and safely store them and provide guest with a receipt.
  • Answer guest questions; escalate guest issues to a supervisor.
  • Be aware of daily functions, events, VIP and group arrivals.
  • Escort guests to rooms; provide all necessary room information.
  • Report any issues from guests, groups, as well as technical issues spotted around the resort.
  • Ensure that all equipment is well maintained & in good operational condition.
  • Actively promote the online reputation of the hotel by encouraging guests to post reviews on social media.
  • Transfer guests with golf buggy within the resort upon request.
  • Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs, and Brand Standards at all times.
  • Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news


Requirements

  • High school Diploma
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Opera PMS / MS Office is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Marriott platforms is considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English & local language. Additional language is considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program is considered is considered an asset
