The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, is seeking an Assistant Butler (Villas Runner) to make an impact on this job. The successful candidate will create memorable stays for our Ionian Exclusive guests by being actively engaged in the onsite guest experience. Impeccably mannered and discreet, butlers are available to satisfy our Ionian Exclusive guests’ needs throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
Prepare the suites/villas and make sure that all guest requests / preferences/ requested items as noted in the prearrival contact are fulfilled.
- Anticipate and attend courteously, timely and with discretion to guest needs. Resolve any complaints or issues.
- Deliver to each suite/villa refreshing amenities, on a daily basis. Provide F&B services to guests in suites/villas.
- Assist with departure plans the day prior to departure and assist guests accordingly. In charge of packing and unpacking of guest’s belongings.
- Knowledge of menus, facilities, activities etc. Arrange and perform transfers in the resort
- Adhere and maintain all etiquette protocol, always offering safe and courteous service.
- Communicate all guest requests to relevant departments or operators, timely and accurately.
- Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times.
- Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news.
Requirements
- High school Diploma
- Ability to speak, write and converse fluently in Greek and English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills / telephone skills
- Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation.
- Must possess a strong desire to provide extraordinary guest service.
- Ability to be persuasive, warm and empathetic.
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations / work under pressure and under supervision
- Detailed knowledge of the area and attractions.
