Responsibilities:

• Participates in the risk management process carried out by the business units that own the risks, providing technical guidance and specialized expertise during the identification, assessment, control/mitigation and monitoring of risks by their respective owners
• Support the business units –risk owners, in addressing issues that arise (e.g., from risk reports), ensuring the timely implementation of appropriate corrective or preventive measures
• Assesses the dynamics of newly identified risks within their area of responsibility, as well as changes to existing risks (definition, assessment of impact and likelihood before and after control/mitigation measures) and submits the corresponding reports
• Recommends the update of the risk register for their area of responsibility, based on the information and documentation provided by the Risk Owners and the Risk Officers
• Evaluates procedures, manuals, models, training programs, etc. from a risk‑management perspective within their area of responsibility and monitors the progress of corrective or preventive actions
• Collaborates and aligns with all necessary stakeholders regarding impacts that affect multiple Business Units and relays relevant information back to the responsible Units

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University in Science, Economics, Business Administration or Diploma in Engineering
• Master's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration will be considered an additional qualification
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the position
• Experience in a related Sector (Energy, Telecommunications, Financial Services) or in a large Company/Organization will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of GRC systems will be considered an additional qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
