Risk Officer (Attica)

Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational support to the risk management process carried out by the business units that own the risks, including all activities related to identifying, assessing, controlling/mitigating and monitoring them
  • Supports the recording and preliminary review of new risks, as well as changes to existing risks (definition, assessment of impact and likelihood before and after control/mitigation measures)
  • Contributes to the updating of the risk register by collecting, documenting and substantiating the relevant information in collaboration with the business units acting as risk owners
  • Prepares analyses and draft risk management reports for its area of responsibility and provides the necessary documentation for their submission and further evaluation
  • Supports coordination and alignment with any stakeholders involved when impacts affect multiple Business Units, by gathering and providing relevant information

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a University in Science, Economics, Business Administration or Diploma in Engineering
  • Master's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration will be considered an additional qualification
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in the position
  • Experience in a related Sector (Energy, Telecommunications, Financial Services) or in a large Company/Organization will be considered an additional qualification
  • Knowledge of GRC systems will be considered an additional qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
  • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
