Advanced Analytics Engineer

Job Description:
We are currently looking for an Advanced Analytics Engineer to join our Metallurgy sector Technology team in our industrial complex facilities located in Paralia Distomou, Viotia.
Your role will encompass:
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems such as process engancement, predict equipment failure, improve energy efficiency, optimize consumption of raw materials, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our metallurgy products and services.
• Create and maintain data pipelines to ensure the availability and integrity of data.
• Create visualizations and reports to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and the operation excellence sector.
• Work with engineers, and other stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions in the metallurgy sector.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the industrial sector.
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language.
• Strong Python, R, and SQL skills, with experience in statistical analysis, data visualization, machine learning frameworks, and big data technologies (e.g. TensorFlow, Spark, Kafka).
• Analytical, detail oriented problem solver with the ability to manage multiple projects in cross functional teams.
• Clear communicator able to translate complex data insights for non technical stakeholders, with interest in Azure and emerging technologies.
