Electra Hotels & Resorts is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support the coordination and implementation of human resources initiatives across our hotels and corporate teams.
This role is central to ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience across the organization, acting as a key link between HR strategy and daily operations. The HR Generalist works closely with the HR leadership team and collaborates with department managers, hotel teams, and external partners to support recruitment processes, employee lifecycle management, engagement initiatives, and the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
In this role, the HR Generalist will be responsible for:
Collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions
Managing the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing
Coordinating onboarding processes to ensure new employees are smoothly integrated into the company culture and procedures
Handling administrative tasks related to offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews
Managing employee satisfaction surveys, analyzing results, and suggesting improvement initiatives
Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution
Generating HR reports to support decision-making and identify workforce trends
Ensuring compliance with labor regulations and the implementation of GDPR policies within the company
Assisting in the development and execution of HR procedures and personnel policies
Maintaining accurate HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Supporting the organization of company events and engagement initiatives such as team bonding activities, company celebrations, and blood donation days
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in a similar HR role
Strong understanding of HR practices and Greek labor legislation
Knowledge of GDPR principles and HR data confidentiality practices
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
