Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Lead the month-end financial closing process, coordinating closely with accounting , sales, Production & HR departments
- Monitor, compare, and analyze performance results against the budget at both company and business-line level, providing actionable feedback monthly
- Prepare monthly management and Board reporting packs, including P&L analysis, variance reports (actual vs. budget/forecast), and forward-looking projections
- Conduct in-depth analysis of costs, pricing, contribution margins, and sales performance to support commercial and business development decisions
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with company objectives
- Oversee the preparation of financial rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategic priorities
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support monthly reporting and scenario analysis
- Identify key improvement areas in financial processes and drive automation initiatives with technical support between core accounting data and ERP systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree and/or professional certification will be considered an asset
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning ,variance analysis, KPI monitoring, designing and developing reports for diverse audiences
- Previous experience specifically in construction industry is a plus
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with SoftOne ERP will be highly appreciated
- Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach
