Senda Group is a leading authorized stockist and distributor of marine engine spare parts globally, with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Greece and Poland. We specialize in providing genuine spare parts for main engines (ME) and auxiliary engines (AE) from licensed manufacturers, serving the regional and global maritime industry with quality products and technical expertise. Moreover, we supply technical services in terms of remote troubleshooting, or attendance at site, deploying our service teams.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales Processor to join our team in Athens, primarily focused on supporting existing customers’ transactions (offers-orders-deliveries-invoices), and secondarily assist in enhancing sales growth and expanding our market share.
Therefore, the one to join our team, should combine technical knowledge/understanding together with commercial acumen, leveraging customers’ knowledge of marine engine technologies and propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive customers’ enquiries, follow up with the HQ in China, and prepare respective quotations. Negotiate commercial terms with customers.
- In case of order, take care of smooth delivery of the spares
- Follow up timely settlement of the invoices
- Effectively communicate the value of our products, with customers
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Build and maintain relationships with customers’ Techn. & Purch. Dpts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Regional Manager, based on feedback received
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within local maritime sector and in neighboring countries and regions
- Address customer inquiries, promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with our team, to ensure exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions
- Contribute to marketing materials and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate of Technical Faculty, in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
- Prior experience in a similar role, within a Ship Management or Trading Company
- Fluent command of English, written and spoken
- Mandarin Chinese: Professional proficiency in mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is preferred, but not required
- Efficient handling of Microsoft Office
- The knowledge of SAP software, would be considered as a most important merit
Skills
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal abilities
- High interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Understanding of vessel operations, maintenance planning, and spare parts procurement processes
- Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles would be advantageous
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and classification society requirements
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
